a gold glitter i`m okay with year round
2014-02-15
I usually only use gold glitters around the holidays, but this also compliments my skin while tan. it stands out, but with a matte top coat can also be kind of neutral. for a glitter polish, it is not difficult to remove. I love it and have received many compliments. 2 coats is perfect, but i added a third for extra sparkle :)

a great goldish neutral for pale cool skin!
2013-12-19
i was torn between godiva and tomoko and ended up buying both. they are very similar in color but tomoko is slightly more goldish (even though the description calls her silver-- she definitely leans more gold in my opinion) and also very very subtly greenish (think olive). the greenish tint makes this a really good color for my skin tone which is pale and cool toned (blue eyed, blue veined, German heritage). i`ve always thought i couldn`t wear gold because of its yellow tones (and ziv looks awful on me) but this is a nice gold for those of us with cool pale skin tones. if you`re hesitant to try a pixie dust this is a great starter color. its just neutral enough that its not much craziness all at once, and the texture is a bit rough at first but after a day of wear its much smoother. i really love it and i`ll be trying more pixies soon!

Holds up to Brillo pads!
2013-12-16
I thought this line of polishes was stupid, but I kept hearing everyone rave about them, so when I had the chance to get this as a freebie I did. I put it on yesterday, and was shocked at how sparkly and pretty it is. One coat looked good, two coats looked great--and when I say great know that I want my polish to look opaque, and two coats of this were plenty.
The real test was today. I had two pans that needed heavy scrubbing with a brillo pad. For me this always spells the end of my nail polish. Not Tomoko! Fifteen minutes of scrubbing pots in hot water without gloves and my nails still look fabulous. There are no chips at the tips, they are still shiny, and they don`t need another coat of polish. I did not know this was possible. wow. Thank you Zoya!

Bought this one with Godiva. A little more sparkle, but still nice. The pixie dust polishes are my new favorite.

I have a very fair completion. This polish doesn`t wash me out. After 3 days it chips :(

I LOVE ZOYA!!
2013-10-28
I am a beauty blogger so I am always trying different brands to see what`s best, and I have found it! Zoya has amazing pigment and also excludes the "Big 5" from their polish! This particular color is my first and favorite. Beautiful silvery shimmer with a sand-like texture. Lasts for weeks with minor chipping. It is gorgeous, and super elegant. If you haven`t tried Zoya, you must!

This color looks amazing against my olive-toned skin. The matte finish makes the glitter more sophisticated and subtle. I feel so fancy!
